Summer Camp 2008

Ages 6-12
Join the Rising Chefs World Tour! In our delicious action packed camps we're exploring dishes from a 
different part of the world each week.   Imagine souvlaki, paella, calzones, chocolate mousse, gnocchi, 
fondue, sweet and sour chicken, blueberry crisp, pad thai, plantain  fritters, apple pie and much much more!
Choose from: Sail the Mediterranean, Explore Europe, Asia and South  Pacific Adventure or Conquer the Americas and Caribbean.

9am-4pm $299 per week (before and after care available for an additional charge)

Ages 11+
Welcome to Boot Camp! Is your tween/teen a total foodie?? Have they ever wondered what a real chef does? Then this is the camp for them. Our Executive Chef has put together an amazing week of extreme cooking that will teach them a multitude of cooking methods and skills used by real chefs. Two different themes, two awesome camps!

Choose either:

• Culinary Boot Camp (sauces, soups, veg. prep, pastas, meat dishes,  food presentation and more!
• Baking Boot Camp (breads, appetizers, pastries, piping, cakes,  tortes and more!

9am-4pm $399 per week (before and after care included)

Field Trips
Rising Chefs Culinary Centre welcome's schools, daycares, groups and organizations to attend fun and educational classes.

With childhood obesity and type II diabetes on the rise in children, teaching them healthy food choices has never been more important. In our fun and kid friendly kitchens we explore a variety of foods and discuss why and how each is important to their growing bodies. Learning can be tasty!

We aren't limited to classes on healthy food choices. We can create a theme to suit your needs.
Through food we can explore a multitude of topics. Field trips can be customized based on individual group requirements. Please contact the culinary centre for details.
